Yuberactive Review : Montagne Jeunesse Strawberry Souffle Mask

 Tuesday, August 16, 2011

Thanks to Yuberactive, I managed to score a Montagne Jeunesse Strawberry Souffle Mask. Well, I've actually used this mask before and I'm a fan of MJ masks, so I knew I was in for a treat. ;)

MJ masks are different from other paper masks currently in fashion from Taiwan. It's not a paper mask but a cream-based mask that you can spread over your skin. You also only leave it on for a shorter period of time - only 15-20 minutes and you're good to go. Of course, it's more inconvenient compared to paper masks, which you can just peel off and discard. ;)

As always, I always feel that one MJ mask is good for TWO usages. I tried to be extra generous with the portions this time, but even though I felt like I had covered my entire face, there was STILL A LOT OF MASK LEFT IN THE PACKET. Yahoo for good savings? It's only RM5.90 per pack, so it works out to be about RM2.95 per usage only!

One thing I LOVE about the Strawberry Souffle mask is how YUMMY it smells. It really, really smells GOOD! It smells so good that I have to resist the temptation to lick the mask to see if it tastes as sweet as it smells. =p The mask also contains bits and pieces of exfoliating beads (and if it really is made of pulped strawberries as what the mask claims, then I suppose it is strawberry pips?), which you can use to gently exfoliate your skin when you wash the mask off. Super two-in-one benefits. :)

After 20 minutes --- you can see that the mask has "tightened up" in some areas, but you cannot peel it off. Please use water and wash the mask off gently.

The main objective of this mask is to moisturise and purify your skin, which is what I feel that it did do --- my skin definitely felt smoother, plumper and softer to the touch. =) Love the lingering strawberry scent on my face as well.

In conclusion, it's a steal at RM5.90, totally worth your money cos it WORKS and you will most definitely enjoy using it as well. Can't wait to use my remainding half packet. ;)
