Friends With Benefit

 Thursday, June 9, 2011

I got the heads up from JerineLay.com, so Imma spread the good word here too. ;) Benefit Cosmetics (USA) is offering free shipping WORLDWIDE if you purchase at least $115 worth of goods from them! With the low USD/MYR exchange rate, that's a mere RM345. Do you know how easy it is to achieve that? Hahaha... whenever I win stuff from Benefit and they are giving away "RM500 hampers", I know it's gonna be about 4 products. I got about RM500 worth of stuff from Parkson Pavilion a while back and it was just 4 items! Apparently, if you buy online, you save more money as the price on the website is much cheaper than what is being sold over the counter in Malaysia.

I was quite sad because they didn't have the stuff that I wanted to try out, namely :
a. Lust Dusters (shimmery eyeshadow, I find it akin to Everyday Minerals, so I wanna check 'em out!)
b. Touch Me... Then Try To Leave Me (a luxurious body moisturiser with cute packaging = thumbs up!)
c. Body So Fine another luxurious body moisturiser. But some reviews say that they have discontinued it, and repackaged it as "Take A Picture, It Lasts Longer".
d. Dear John ... apparently a great face moisturiser! Why don't they have this online! Is it also discontinued?

The Buh-Bye (aka sales!) section of the website was also disappointing - I generally don't buy a lot of lippies or lipglosses since I can't use finish what I *do* have. I also don't use eyebrow pencils - people who were once called "caterpillar brows" generally do not WANT to accentuate them in any way. But it doesn't matter, the point is not to get the stuff on sale, but that everything does seem to be "on sale" as the shipping is free, and as mentioned, you're paying less than if you buy it over the counter in Malaysia.

Let me share with you my Benefit haul through the years!

a. Lipscription
Contains two tubes - one is lip buffing beads and the other is a silky lip balm. Obviously, the lip buffing beads are to buff your lips, great for those with dry lips like mine. If it's all cracked up, best to buff with lipscription instead of peeling it on your own, unless you like bleeding wtf. I think the lip buffing beads aren't really that special. You could do the same with warm water and a soft towel (then again - I like it rough like that, hehe). However, the silky lip balm is a whole other story. It squeezes out like wax, and melts onto your lips easily and makes it oh-so-kissable. SERIOUSLY! And since I'm darn vain, I think this helps make my lips look 10% juicier. ^^

Then you put it on your lips and proceed "brushing" your lips with your finger! There's no smell (or if there is, it's very mild) and doesn't leave weird after taste whatsover. Quite fun, but pointless IMHO.

b. Boi-ing!
Touted to be industrial strength undereye circle concealer, but I didn't use it because when I first got this (as a prize), I didn't have such bad undercircles. After that, I kept thinking that the shade that they got for me was darker than my skintone (but actually it's quite a good match), so I ended buying ...

c. Erase Paste
Delicate under-circle concealer and also a concealer for other random imperfections you wish to hide. It doesn't only conceal - it brightens up! I remember being so amazed when the SA applied it on for me, and the difference between my eyes were amazing. Lemme show you :

Here's a picture of myself without any make-up on. Looks bad huh. Check out my eyebags! Lack of sleep, too much staring at the computer and lots of crying will do that to you.

I had to use flash to show you the difference, but somehow the flash makes it look like my eyebags are not as severe (compare this to above image). But you can see the difference la! In real life, I can really see a marked change, but somehow when I *don't* use flash, there's no difference. Hmmm...

Off topic, but remember the Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating cleanser series I've been using? I change my mind! With religious application, it really works. You can see how clear my nose looks in the above picture! No pore strips needed (but I like pore strips...).

d. Brow-zings
How to pluck/shave your perfect brows and make them an arc above the rest. ;p Haven't used this either as I generally don't care about my brows. You're probably wondering then why do I have it... it's through contest winnings!

Thanks to hot Malaysian weather , the dark brown shade is kinda screwed up, though you can't see in this pic.

e. Dandelion
Lovely blush from Benefit, and their definite bestseller. I can definitely see why that is so - it's a very delicate pink color with small sparkles to give you a glowy, dewy look. Very youthful and suitable for my skintone. This makes me a fan of their "box o' powder" series, which is why I'm thinking of getting more from my online haul. Should I? Cos my Dandelion is not really used, and I have two full-size Everyday Minerals blushers that also barely get any usage. Sigh... I should really wear make-up more often.

f. That Gal!
Another wonderful face primer that I got and it's a totally lifesaver. Some days, I just go out with my moisturiser and That Gal! on. I know, I know, I'm totally lazy, but you know, it's just perfect for those days when you're going out for just a short while to grab something to eat, and you want to look nice, but not totally made up. Trying to look like you don't try too hard? This is great! It gives your skin this really bright, youthful and perky look. I mean, just compare :

g. You Rebel Lite!
I think I'm doing it wrong... :( When the SA applied this for me, it looked really good, and it also was right up my "oh I'm so effortlessly beautiful without wearing makeup but I actually am" alley. This is a tinted moisturiser (the lite version is for lighter skin tone?), but "defiantly different" because it provides SPF protection, complexion coverage and moisturisation all in one.

Following what the SA did, at home, I did my usual routine of putting moisturiser first, then I applied That Gal! and followe that with You Rebel Lite. It came out sooooo oily and "shiny", and it was rather hard for me to blend. Maybe I'm not used to it... I'll give it another shot. Also, maybe I shouldn't use That Gal! with this even though the SA said I could? Cos sometimes when I'm hardworking, I use That Gal! underneath foundation and it looks fab.

(I'm saving the last two items to be reviewed in another entry as my camera ran out of battery.)

I'm a person who is very easily taken in by cute packaging and even cuter newsletters. Benefit caught my attention that way and I've always been hankering for moarrrr. Here are some stuff that *did* catch my eye :

1. Ooh La Lift!
Have always been interested in this product. In fact, it was between Ooh La Lift or Erase Paste, and I took Erase Paste because it was more versatile (can use on any blemish, not just your eyes) while Ooh La Lift is only for your eyes. But still... I want it!

2. Thhhrob
From their box o' powder series... I think this should be quite a sexy look... and it's something that I don't have in my arsenal yet. ;p But do I really want to look on heat all the time? Hehehe... the packaging is sooo cute though! And it's a unique blue-pink color...

3. 10
A bronzer & a highlighter in one. I didn't take note of it before because I wasn't sure how to use it, but MakeupAlley reviews kinda make this seem like an idiot's guide to sculpting & highlighting cheekbones. A lot of people say that I have nice cheekbones, so it would be nice if I highlighted it more I guess. ^^ Basically just swipe down right in the middle so you get equal amount of bronzer & highlighter on your brush, swipe onto your face (highlighter on top, bronzer at the bottom) and blend, blend, blend. If it's idiot-proof, I'm in.

4. Girl Meets Pearl
Since I'm such a fan of That Gal!, and this is That Gal's sister, I have high hopes for this one!

5. Cha Cha Tint || Benetint
Apparently the "must have" item for summer 2011 is Cha Cha Tint, but I'm not so sure about it because I've actually never even tried Benetint before. Should I get the basic one before I go for odder colors? I vaguely know how it works, and I'm alright with finally getting my very first Benetint, but Cha Cha Tint's advertising campaign has a model wearing it... and it looks so... painted on. Is it really such a strong look? I won't be able to pull that off! Should I just get both?

6. Dr Feelgood's Velvety Complexion Balm
Just read the description on the website and I feel like I really need a good face cream. I know I exhort good drugstore products, but occasionally I like to indulge, yea?

My online haul today :

Wow, I'm so accurate, hehe. So this is how I decided on Cha Cha Tint over Benetint --- cos Cha Cha Tint is $1 more expensive than Benetint... with Benetint, I only reach $114... lol!

Remember, it's :
+ WORLD115 - free shipping for $115 purchase or more

I also tried these coupons that I found online, but none of them worked. ;_; Or maybe they couldn't be used together with WORLD115... hmph!
+ WHTARUSH - free full-size Rush Hour with $75 order (expires 14 June 2011)
+ PWDR4YOU - free full-size Powderflage with $85 order (expires 30 May)
+ FREEBRSH - free fluff brush with $40 order(not sure when expiring)

Good luck! Can't wait to receive my new stuff! (Oh my, estimated delivery date is in the middle of July!)

Eyeliners! (ZA Ever Liner for Eyes)

 Wednesday, June 8, 2011

Ok, I'm a hypocrite. Want to teach you all to save money by reviving gel eyeliners in hot water, but I couldn't keep up with the annoyance of doing so (plus I'm thinking that my eyeliner is screwed up anyway because although it is much better than before, it's still rather hard). I wound up buying two new eyeliners from Guardian the other day.

I'm going to review the first one here. The ZA Ever Liner for Eyes in BR22 :

Bought this for about RM22 after discount at Watsons, alongside with another eyeliner that I have not reviewed yet. Why did I buy two eyeliners at the same time? Well, I always need one brown and one black. Black for drama and brown for work. Since I urgently needed a brown one for work, this is the one I started using first.

The packaging kinda sucks for this product as there's no cap. As you can see, there's already smudges near the tip from where the nib goes in and out. However, I do like this type of eyeliner. No need to sharpen! This is just like my old MAC eyeliner. Just that the package would be so much nicer with a cap.

To be honest, I'm quite disappointed with this product. Aside from ease of use, there's nothing else going for it. As usual, I applied my make-up in the morning in this order :
eyeshadow -> eyeliner

And the eyeliner had such a hard time showing up above the eyeshadow. At first, I thought it was due to my Everyday Minerals mineral eyeshadow... some other brands have a bit of problem showing up on top of the eyeshadow. But with less shimmery shades, I still had this problem. Today, I had the best "look" with this eyeliner --- just don't apply any eyeshadow at all. Then and only then will the color show up clearly on my eyelids.

Here are some swatches on my bare skin, and even then, you can see how rough the application is.

I don't think it's my skin's problem as I don't encounter this problem with other eyeliners. After smooth applications using liquid eyeliner, it's so tough to go back to pencil. *dramatic sigh*

Collagen Firming Mask from My Beauty Diary

 Tuesday, June 7, 2011

Hi everyone! I had yet another sucky week, so how else to perk my spirits up than to use a mask? Plus, my tired face, frequently stressed up & tear-filled self could use a little indulgence.

It was a good plan... 30 minutes with the Collagen Firming Mask from My Beauty Diary on and when I peeled off the semi-dry mask (yes, after 30 minutes, it is only "semi dry" because the mask is really soaked with essence!), my skin looked fairer and was definitely moist and bouncy! *yay* The mask also has a mildly sweet scent which made it totally nice to have on. Sometimes if the scent of a mask is too overpowering, you just can't wait to take it off!

Sadly, it's Tuesday now and I'm back to being tired, stressed up and tear-filled again...

Shampoo Conspiracy Theory

 Monday, June 6, 2011

[copied this over from my main blog]

I dunno if this has been said before, or whether I think too much because I spend a LOT of $$ and a LOT of time buying bath products or I’m the only person left in the world to figure this out on my own… but behold! Two conspiracy theories I came up with when I was showering and thinking about my shampoo.

Firstly, I’m really pissed off that I have to spend a LOT on haircare products. In this case, it’s not about shampoo, but stuff like hair serum, anti-frizz serum, hair masks, etc. If I don’t spend money on these items, my hair is dry as hay. Sometimes, even though I spend so much, it’s still like hay, but slightly better hay quality, I suppose. I can’t help but to wash my hair a lot, which results in the hair becoming even drier. This is because I go to the gym ALMOST every day. Therefore, I have to wash my hair ALMOST every day. Before I even went into the crazy world of rebonding and coloring my hair, my hair was super good. No need to buy all this crap to nurture it. But because girls oi leng moi meng, I have to spend $$ to make my colored / rebonded hair look nice nice. What’s the use if it’s a nice color and it’s all straight but the ends look like I got electrocuted, right?

Anyway, recently I read this Tim Hartford economics book, and he was going on about how companies, when they can, they will try to charge “customers who are willing to pay more a higher amount, and customers who are not willing to pay more, the normal amount”. The problem, he said, was how does a company identify whether a customer is rich and doesn’t count pennies, therefore willing to pay a higher amount? In the end, he said it was due to the customer’s own choices that identify him as a rich-and-dun-care feller, by choosing additional premiums for a certain product. E.g : in a coffee joint, the store might offer you RM2 extra if you take whipped cream with your frappucino. If you don’t count pennies, you will say no thanks to the extra cream. If you do, you save yourself RM2. However, if you are rich and you chose the whipped cream, you are paying RM2 for maybe something that costs the coffee joint only extra 20 sen to give to you. Therefore, you are practically wearing a neon sign saying “rip me off!” to the company. They love it! That’s why they give you so many “choices” to give you the chance to identify yourself as a rich and so-called “willing to pay more” customer. Premiums like supersizing, additional shot of espresso, additional flavoring, etc.

So my theory for this haircare stuff is that, in the first place, we girls who color or rebond our hair have already highlighted and marked ourselves as vain and “willing to spend” customers to the haircare company. Who knows, maybe they have already developed hair dyes or rebonding methods that will NOT result in our hair becoming like hay. I know, you think that it’s not possible because chemicals are so harsh, etc. But when we put hair serums and hair treatments into our hair, isn’t that chemicals also? Possibly they have developed this super good hair dye in super good colors that when we color our hair, our hair becomes softer and more manageable than ever! But why would they sell this when they know that we are “willing to pay more” to them by buying their hair treatment products? I’m sure they’re earning BILLIONS extra from this industry. No way are they going to release the super secret formula for the super hair dye that actually makes our hair better when we use it. So the more we buy into the idea of how coloring the hair and rebonding / curling the hair = great, the more the companies rub their hands with glee because they know this will not be the end they see of us! Soon, we will be returning to buy stuff to keep our hair in good condition… by the way, I also believe that those shampoos for colored hair generally cost more than regular shampoo right. I bet the cost of manufacturing the shampoos are the SAME…

My next theory is on why the heck my shampoo and conditioners never finish at the same time. I have 3 bottles of conditioner in my toilet, but only 1 bottle of shampoo. Obviously the company purposely makes it so that it CANNOT finish at the same time because when you are left with 1/4 more conditioner, you generally wanna buy back the “matching shampoo”.. which would be from the same brand. Cos SUPPOSEDLY it works better if you get both from the same brand, right? So to keep you coming back for more, they will always make sure that they cannot finish at the same time. How ah now… am I suppose to slather on my conditioner like crazy from now on? So that by using more conditioner, then perhaps I won’t need the hair treatments? Hahaha….

Okie, I’m just talking crap. Think I spend too much time looking at shampoos.

Getting Ready For Dinner

 Sunday, June 5, 2011

Another make-up post! This time, it's me getting ready to celebrate my paternal grandmother's birthday. I wanted a fun look that was suitable for night, but not too crazy as all my relatives are going to be there. :P At the same time, wanted to try out new make-up that I've bought, and also use up some old make-up that I might have not gotten the chance to show you all before. :)

Transforming from :

To this :

Starting off with a clean palette - clean face, I proceed to moisturise. I'm sick of seeing the Hada Labo moisturiser on my blog, so here's my second go-to moisturiser --- Hazeline Snow! :)

Just dip into the jar and swipe it on... after the liquid-y ease of applying Hada Labo, this does seem like more work, lol. But it's super moisturising and I love the way it feels on my skin.

Next step, full body moisturiser. My boyfriend loves this brand - Vaseline's Aloe Cool & Fresh light moisturising lotion. I think it's ok, but not the MOST fantastic I've ever used. He keeps saying that this is suitable for our weather. To be honest, the only reason he bought HIS moisturiser was because it was going cheap in Watsons, and because he wanted something to soothe his hands after he accidentally brushed against some fibreglass. Random or what?! :

Hehehe... full body application!! You know how generous I am when slathering on lotion? One full long pump for each limb.

Johnson's Baby Powder "Cooling" for daytime. It's only at night that I use the "sleep better" one. :)

Ooh! Let me show you my new purchase. Got this because I wanted to enter a contest, and even then, I was standing in front of the show case for a very very long time. It is Rimmel's Match Perfection Ultra Creamy Compact Powder in "Ivory". It was selling for RM46, but there was an in-house discount of about 30%, so I got it for about RM32.

Why I wasn't impressed enough to buy it straightaway? Firstly, I didn't know about the discount, so price was a bit daunting (yes, I'm stingy). -___-" Secondly, I didn't like how they only had 3 shades - Ivory (the one I got) and two others. On the website it has 16 shades! I don't know if they only stocked 3 shades in the Guardian that I went to, or what.. but it seemed like it was typically slotting it into "Malay / Chinese / Indian" shades and that was annoying. I was so worried that Ivory would be too fair for me, but the beige shade would be too dark. I went with Ivory anyway (because at least it was still a flesh-colored shade. You know, sometimes the really light shades seem to be white?!? Thirdly, am not a fan of Zooey Deschanel or Rimmel products. Had bad encounter with the latter. Hahaha.

I quite like the packaging, after opening it up...

While putting it on, I felt that this was NOT "ultra creamy"... in fact I had quite a hard time applying it as it didn't blend easily. On a good note, it was a perfect match for my skin tone. This, I really liked! Take note, I'm darker than average for a chinese, so if you're fair, this is probably not the shade for you? Also, when I went out later that day, when I was sweating (dang this weather), and I dabbed at my face with tissue, I noticed that my foundation wasn't stained on the tissue! This, I was really amazed! With my mineral foundation, I can 101% guarantee that the foundation would be transferred onto the tissue.

Good stuff, this one. Quite love it already. *heart*

I had to put on quite a few layers and take a while to blend (maybe cos I'm no longer so used to pan foundations, after using mineral foundations for so long), but when I'm done, the coverage is good and it doesn't make the face feel "clogged". Thumbs up!

Skipped the eyes and went to blusher after that. This is a darker shade of blush in matte called "Sunday Brunch" from Everyday Minerals.

Brush it on with my kabuki brush :

Decided to use my L'oreal HiP (high intensity pigments) Bright Shadow Duo in Reckless. Bought this when I was in US. It's super cheap there, but a bit pricier when I saw it in some drugstores in Singapore. Might pick it up cos I want the blue shades! =p Very easy to use, and lasts a long time. And yes, the pigments are quite bright and intense... I find this product very value for money. Who needs M.A.C... hmph (this is just me being jealous). Anyway, thought it was a good choice as I was wearing lots of grey that night, and this, plus my sparkly hairband would set off the monotones and add a bit of youthfulness to my outfit. :)

The base is a sparkly bit of light purple. Sometimes I just wear this alone, but that would be too plain. I always need to shade it in to develop a more "3d" kind of look... hahhaa.

Let me show you my favorite lipgloss! I was actually introduced to it by Michelle Phan, I used to watch all her videos when she was still a Xanga blogger. After she went Youtube, her stuff got more and more sponsored and expensive. Hahaha. I couldn't afford to keep up with her recommendations any more. Anyway, it is Boots No. 7 lipgloss in Flirt. Bought it in US too!

Completed lips:
And then it's eyeliner... my "faithful" gel eyeliner from Maybelline that you've heard so much about by now...

Finished look, once again :

But there's still two more things I need to do. 1 - put on some anti-frizz hair product. Love the Free & Free Damage Aid spray that Pauline got for me from Bangkok! Love the smell, love how it works!

Rub it into the ends of your hair...

2 - spray on some perfume! I got this dirt cheap when I was in Singapore! It's "Love" from the Sex & The City perfume range. Dirt cheap because it's a parallel import, but I think something must be wrong with the goods because the cap of the perfume bottle broke so easily. Hahhaa. But the perfume itself smells nice and is rather long lasting.

Dear mom, now you know why I take so long to get ready!! XOXO.

Body Shop Mini Haul

 Saturday, June 4, 2011

It's *that* time of year... The Body Shop 50% off annual sale! For 3 days only.. and I didn't know about it til I walked past the branch in Subang Parade. I told my boyfriend that I *must* check it out, and wound up RM60+ poorer. Let me show you what I got ...

1. Cranberry Joy Shower Gel
Ok, I just realised I bought the wrong pack... this one is 2 bottles for RM15 and is from their Christmas promotion from 6 months ago, hahaha. The pack that I actually wanted to buy was 1 shower gel and the other was a shimmer lotion. Anyway, I don't mind this TOO bad since the shower gel actually smells really fruity, sweet and yummy. Plus, I'm all for the Yuletide spirit that this shower gel seems to spread... :p

2. Aqua Lily Body Lotion
I really shouldn't buy more body lotion as I have a lot... and in industrial-size portions. But when I first got a whiff from the aqua lily range, I just *knew* I had to get something... and the "something" wound up being the body lotion. It's not a very easy smell to describe.. it's very light and floral, and just leaves me feeling very fresh. Apparently the aqua lily scent is combined with green apple and watermelon to create a scent that will "leave you feeling upbeat and inspired". I need that!

3. Supersize Grapefruit Shower Gel
How could I *not* get shower gel from Body Shop? I love their shower gels and body scrubs (sadly, the body srubs were only 10% off, and therefore, "not worth it" in my books). This zesty smelling shower gel will surely get me feeling fresh and alive in the morning, rearing to go. There were a lot of other shower gels that left me feeling undecided ("Should I just grab them all??"), but decided to temper my insatiable need to spend and left with only this one.

I just mighttt go again tomorrow because the call of Body Shop is hard to ignore. Thinking of grabbing another shower gel (which one which one?? I like the mango, peach and satsuma one tooooo!), I want to try their body butter (satsuma again!)... I've never tried their Body Butter before... and I think the Jolly Orange range looks promising. Maybe I should get more stuff from the Aqua Lily range? An EDT? I saw some Banana shampoo too... what's that about? *ahhhhhh*

Pampering Yourself After A Harrowing Work Week

 Friday, June 3, 2011

Wow, I never thought I would be able to make it to the weekend! It has been a terrible week for me because of my work. I tendered my resignation from my job in April, but it seems like I have more work after I have quit than before! To be honest, I thought I would be spending the rest of my time doing handover and shaking legs, but the handover took a longggg time, and then my project manager had this huge project (all 8 people in the team are taking part), and I was roped in to do development though that is not exactly what you call "handing over". Sigh... a long story, which had me leaving work freaking late. The past week I left work at 2am, 11:30pm, 1am... those kind of times! You can imagine, once I arrived home (35 mins drive from my office), I was so tired that after bathing, I just went to sleep.

I felt dirty, gross.. cos when I wake up in the morning, I didn't even bathe but rushed to work because I had to get an early head start the next day if I didn't want to be staying back late again. I already feel very blessed because I got to leave work at 8:45pm today. But as bad as I feel for myself, I feel worse for my users and feel very glad that the IT support in the overseas country that I support is really good. When I was working late, I would sometimes be overcome with emotion (because I was seriously ALONE in the entire floor) that I would cry. I kind of feel pathetic admitting this, but it got worse and worse til even during working hours, I would excuse myself to the toilet to cry quietly. Maybe I shouldn't blog this out, but I don't feel ashamed about admitting this because what do I do after crying? Did I mentally breakdown? Did I stop my work and not do anything and ask someone to take over? People would excuse me by saying, "Oh, it's because she's leaving already... why should she work so hard?" Instead, I wiped my tears and then brave my problems again logically. So the point is, crying is not bad because it shows weakness (actually it does show weakness, that's why I cry in the loo. -___-), but it was just a way for me to release my emotions, and then move on from there.

Ok, anyway, this is a beauty blog, so let me continue in an un-emotional manner. Crying is bad for one thing --- my eyes! Which is why the first thing I did after everything was wrapped up was to take a long, luxurious shower. Washed my hair after what feels like weeks (only 4 days) and pampered myself with some moisturising cream. I am glad to report that I'm finishing the Schwarzkopf Asian Glatt shampoo, and my L'oreal Color Shine conditioner. Yes, two different brands because the Schwarzkopf conditioner finished faster than my shampoo! And the opposite is true for my L'oreal Color Shine shampoo / conditioner set. In my next post I will write about my shampoo conspiracy theories, which I have expounded in my other blog before. :)

(Off topic, but I'm also happy that I finished my Garnier face wash, so I'll be able to try another brand soon! And review it here!)

Used a pore strip so I can get some extra squeaky clean feeling. When I'm stressed, I feel like everything gets shot to hell. Oily skin, limp hair, feeling SMELLY...

I love pore packs... it's so satisfying to rip it out and see all the disgusting things that was once embedded in your skin. :D

After that, pampered self to a My Beauty Diary mask. I'm currently using the Southern France Apricot Mask - good for smoothening and high moisture. Perfect, since I've been sitting in the dry office environment for TOO long. I bought the 15pc + 2 free pc set from Guardian and now I'm only down to the last 7 pieces. I love the mask as I feel it's one of the more ergonomically fitting masks. The scent of this southern france apricot mask is also wonderful. It actually smells like some peach candies that I used to eat when I'm young. So I am having this sweet and nostalgic feeling right now. :)

After the mask, I'll use some toner, more moisturiser on my face & neck, put on some hair balm and put on lots of eye cream! Since I finished my Boots Botanics eye gel, I'll use this other eye gel from Boots -Sakura Blossom & Lemon whitening eye cream for dull skin. Supposed to be for whitening and firming for "lighter and smoother skin". Can't wait to review it.

Lastly, if you have to work late like me, and you are a crybaby (also : like me), remember to drink lots of water, don't work so much that you forget to eat, and try to sleep a little earlier than usual. For me, to get sleep, I had to forgo doing ANYTHING at all once I got home from work. Bathe and then sleep. I had totally no work/life balance. Sad. But it's worth it (temporarily) if the problems get resolved.
